Navmii Offline GPS Canada App Reviews

Very easy to use. The offline feature is very useful in preventing cellular data roaming while abroad. Even works on airplane mode to track your flight. Would be nice to turn off the speeding warning sound if preferred. Otherwise, best driving navigation app Ive used yet.

Version 3.5 freezes with OS 8.4.1.

it lags and the search bar is broken, constantly freezes and crashes and you have to restart it over and over

Great app. Dont need service to use it or anything. It used the GPS from your phone and downloads the maps so it doesnt use any data. I used it when I was away in Italy recently.

App works ok, a little slow for redirects, nice layout, I like the speed alert and voices. However, after upgrading my phone and reinstalling the app, I have had significant difficulty logging in to my account, and no success resetting my password. I have attempted to contact app support many times, with no response. Several weeks of waiting, tweeting and emailing, all my premium purchases no longer available to me, no longer logs my distance as me, which all makes for a lacklustre experience. If app support were more willing and able to actually provide support, I would happily rate this 4-5 stars. Until then, forget it.

My gps crapped out and my phone was already out of data. This worked without data! Turn by turn was spot on! This app was a life saver! Worth paying for Thank You! Thank You!

I really liked the old version but the new version wont verbally tell you the directions so not very helpful while driving

Use it often and it rarely disappoint me. It functions better with wifi/data and thats the only reason why i give 4 stars

doesnt know Vancouver Island at all. wants you to drive all the way up to Port Hardy from Victoria to get to Vancouver. when theres a direct ferry across from Sidney. useless.

Heres how I evaluate these at the start: Get near major store, point of interest and such, type in ID then see what the program spits out. With this, 6 blocks from a Home Depot. Type Home Depot and search. Spits out a Home Depot in Ottawa. I live in Edmonton, Alberta. Check current location and it does recognize where I am. Unless Im missing something, this one isnt for me.

I downloaded this app after reading a review on a blog. It was 2:00am and I was freaking out because the SIM card that I had just purchased the day before wasnt working. I had no way of navigating to my next destination without data...or so I thought! What an amazing app,works flawlessly and got me everywhere I needed to be. It auto corrects when you make a mistake and all this without the use of data. Highly recommended !!!!

When plotting a route to Vancouver Island, it has me taking a little used highway instead of directly down highway 97/1 to Vancouver and ferry terminals.

I am on Vancouver Island and this app thinks Im in the ocean off the coast of Africa. Completely useless.

Can be used without data, if you can do without current traffic updates during navigation
